A new update, patch 2.3.0, for the massive online multiplayer title "Diablo 3" is currently being tested on public servers. It has also been detailed by developer Blizzard in the update's patch notes. More recently, the company has also continued to build the hype for the upcoming update by rolling out a preview trailer.
The video footage put up on the game's official YouTube channel highlights some of the new item add-ons included in the upcoming patch, specifically the set items that players can loot when patch 2.3.0 is released.
In the upcoming update, players will be introduced to three new sets, each set specific to one character class. When the new patch goes live, Crusaders can don the Seeker of the Light gear, which deals almost an unlimited number of Blessed Hammer and up to 320 percent Holy weapon damage to all hit enemies. Meanwhile, players with a Monk character can use the Uliana's Stratagem complete set items, and deal massive weapon and physical damage when class-specific Seven Sided Strike and Exploding Palm skills are unlocked. Completing the new gear triad is Spirit of Arachyr, specific to the Witch Doctor class. Donning the gear will give players Hex skill, unlocked at level 22, that summons a shaman to aid in the Witch Doctor's defense.
Aside from introducing three new gear sets for players, patch 2.3.0 will also update two older sets for the Witch Doctor, the Helltooth Harness set and Vyr's Amazing Arcana gear. In addition, the patch will also add new Legendary items, and will also update old ones.
In terms of locations, patch 2.3.0 will add the Ruins of Secheron, which will go live once the update rolls out. The new zone is where players can explore the Tomb of the Lost King and get the new item, Kanai's Cube, as a reward.
