'Deadpool 2' spoilers, release date: Mackenzie Davis confirmed not to play Domino; Kyle Chandler may play Cable

 20th Century Fox

The new "Deadpool" movie seems to be gaining more hype, with a bunch of rumors saying that the Quicksilver and Taskmaster will be featured in the film, along with Mackenzie Davis purportedly cast as Domino.

According to Yibada, a lot of rumors are being made for the new cast of actors who will play a role on the new movie. Some of these include Kyle Chandler, who starred in "Bloodline," and Mackenzie Davis, who played a role in "Blade Runner 2." The roles they will play will be Cable and Domino respectively.

It will certainly be interesting for these characters to show up in the new movie, since the two characters have a close relationship with Wade Wilson aka Deadpool (played by Ryan Reynolds) back in the comics. Furthermore, featuring them in the movie might make the "X-Force" spin-off much more plausible in the future.

However, it seems that there is little hope for Davis to play the role of Domino, since she clarified that everything seems to be a huge misconception. In an interview with the GQ, this actress said that she has not been picked as a part of the new "Deadpool 2" movie cast, despite the rampant rumors running around. This deeply saddens fans, since most of them know about Domino's chronic romantic relationship with Deadpool in the comics.

However, while she said that her being part of the movie cast is not true, it did not seem that she was uninterested with playing the role either. Right now, Davis's confirmed upcoming roles are with other films such as a "Blade Runner" sequel and she is currently at work with "Black Mirror," since this series will have another upcoming season soon.

"Deadpool 2" will be directed by Tim Miller, and as of the moment only Cable was teased, but no actor has yet been confirmed as a new cast member. With this, fans should just stay tuned for more updates.
