Developers of the game "Dead by Daylight" recently announced two things: first, that fans can expect support of the game on Xbox One X, and second, that the game will not be made available to the console Nintendo Switch.

Good news for fans awaiting the release of Xbox One X because they are in for a treat. Added to the games they could play is the "Dead by Daylight," as revealed to Dual Shockers at the New York Comic Con during the weekend. Mathieu Cote, lead designer of Behavior Interactive, the game's developer, disclosed some new updates on the game.

Cote also divulged that there have been no plans to bring "Dead by Daylight" into Nintendo Switch. He said that this is because of "specific controls." The designer also added that the "technical requirements" had also been a factor relating to the difficulty of translating the game into the platform.

There has been no additional information from the developer whether this plan of refraining "Dead by Daylight" in the Nintendo Switch is final. However, but fans will surely be able to enjoy it on Microsoft's Xbox One X. Along with this, Cote announced that the group is discussing support for Xbox One X.

Cote also explained that fans can expect framerate and resolution enhancements of "Dead by Daylight" in Xbox One X. He mentioned details on the recent upgrade of the game, which is available in PlayStation 4, PC, and Xbox One.

"Dead by Daylight" recently added a character to its roster of killers. Leatherface hails from a family of killers and is quite powerful. The chainsaw-wielding man also attacks survivors brutally. The website of the game describes Leatherface as someone who "kills not from a desire to exert his will over others, to satisfy carnal urges, or even to quiet the voices in his head. He kills because he is scared."
