With Netflix determinedly sticking to its two superhero shows a year schedule, it seems unlikely that Daredevil's third season will be released anytime before 2018.

Fans of Hell's Kitchen's resident superhero should not fret however, as Daredevil will appear in DC's Defenders, which is already scheduled for a 2017 release after the first season of Iron Fist.

Daredevil will reportedly lead the alliance of heroes who will protect the city of New York from all threats, reported Cheat Sheet.

In an interview with Charlie Cox, who plays the Daredevil, he revealed his wishlist of villains to fight off when he returns for the third season of the show.

"If we are fortunate enough to continue making the Daredevil series, I can't imagine doing a run of Daredevil where Bullseye doesn't show up at some point. It would be great to have him around at some point. Who would play that part I have no idea but I just think there's such an interesting, rich character there, and also of course, the history that Bullseye has with Karen Page is an interesting dynamic. When you read the comics it's etched in a Daredevil memory all that stuff," he said.

Bullseye is a paid assassin who takes pleasure in his work because it provides an avenue for him to vent out his psychopathic tendencies.

Cox said that he would also like for Vincent D'Onofrio's Wilson Fisk/Kingpincharacter to return because there was so much of their story that remained untold.

Bullseye and Kingpin are two of Daredevil's known arch nemesis in the comic books.

However, when the show returns, Matt Murdoch may have to deal with the dissolution of his bromance with Foggy Nelson who has had enough of Matt slacking off in order to focus on being a vigilante. The character was last seen accepting a job offer from Jessica Jones' lawyer friend Jeri Hogarth.
