Fans are excited to know about the celebrities competing in the 23rd season of "Dancing with the Stars," despite the show only one week away from premiering. Recent reports say that ABC has already confirmed eight celebrities to return to the show.

According to the Inquisitr, some reports have released a list of the pros to return to the 23rd season of "Dancing with the Stars" show. These will include Lindsay Arnold, Witney Carson, Artem Chigvintsev, Val Chmerkovskiy, Sasha Farber, Allison Holker, and Gleb Savchenko.

Furthermore, Val Chmerkovskiy had an appearance on the show "Good Morning America" earlier this week to reveal these returnees once the ABC reality dance competition makes its comeback to the small screens in September. He even went so far as to say that the show will be amazing with its incredible cast. He is especially excited about the variety of pros coming back for more, with some of them already pros from back in the day.

The reason why he revealed such a limited lineup is due to the fact that he was not allowed to divulge the entire lineup. With this, as much as fans are dying to know which pros are yet to be announced, there are, however, some of them who will certainly not return to compete this season.

People reports that the reigning Mirrorball champ, Peta Murgatroyd, will have a season off since she is pregnant with her and Maksim Chmerkovskiy's son, while Kym Johnson revealed that she will be retiring officially as a pro. She said that while she loves the show and would still want to be a part of it, she still feels like it is the best time to retire.

Regardless, it is only a matter of time before all the pros will be revealed, as "Dancing with the Stars" season 23 premieres on Sept. 12.
