Rumors continue to swirl about the possible cancellation of "Dance Moms" after its sixth season due to the departure of several of its most popular cast members and some legal issues that may sideline Coach Abby Lee Miller for a seventh season.

According to a report by Parent Herald, the Ziegler sisters Maddie and Mackenzie have already confirmed their exit from the show after the conclusion of the sixth season.

The Lifetime reality show is also faced with having to deal with the possible departure of talented dancers Jojo Siwa and Nia Nioux if they push through with Season 7, reported Christian Times.

Coach Abby Lee Miller may also be indisposed as she accepts a plea deal for a $5M fraud case lodged against her, reported Deadline.

The Dance Moms coach is expected to file a guilty plea on June 27 to keep her from serving significant jail time and fines.

"Events over the past several months have been extremely challenging for me, my family, my friends and most important, my students. Because of this I made the very difficult decision to close the door on this chapter of my life by accepting responsibility for mistakes I have made along the way. I appreciate all the wonderful messages of support I've received from around the world and look forward to the future and getting back to my life's work; helping young dancers fulfill their potential," she said in a statement via her lawyers.

Meanwhile, all hope is not lost for the show as former Dance Moms cast member Cathy Nesbitt-Stein has expressed openness to return to the show after leaving in Season 5.

"I would love, love, love to come back to the show. I absolutely enjoy doing it. If they could do something that they could come back here I would definitely be interested participating with them," she told Reality Tea.
