'Dance Moms' season 6 news: Abby Lee Miller and Maddie Ziegler not returning?

It is still unclear if every cast member is returning for a new season of "Dance Moms." There are speculations that Abby Lee Miller, the show's fierce dance instructor, and her alleged favorite student Maddie Ziegler will no longer be back for season 6.

According to Bustle, it is very likely that most of the cast seen in the previous season, namely Nia and Holly Frazier, Jojo, Kalani Hilliker, Kendall and their respective moms, will still appear in the show.

However, things are a bit different when it comes to Maddie Ziegler, who is slowly rising to stardom with flourishing dancing and modeling careers. The young dancer, who starred in Sia's music videos, has already expressed her doubt in doing "Dance Moms" season 6.

"I'm not sure what's going to happen for season 6. I don't know if I'm going to do it or not, so it just depends," Ziegler told MTV Australia around the time she and the cast finished filming season 5.

She also told the publication that she would love to pursue acting and has been auditioning.

Meanwhile, the speculations about Miller's exit from the show dates back to her interview with Entertainment Tonight about how Lifetime is "a little in arrears on their payment plan" and how the dancers and their moms can handle things without her.

However, since Miller herself posted via her Instagram account the advertisement about Lifetime's search for new young dancers and mommies for "Dance Moms" season 6, it is believed that the issues have been fixed and that Miller is back on board.

From the looks of it, although there's no solid details with regard to the other cast members, fans will likely see new faces in the new season in addition to the ones they have come to love.
