'CSI: Cyber' season 2 spoilers: Team investigates a hacker's baffling murder in episode 9

Avery Ryan (Patricia Arquette), D.B. Russell (Ted Danson), and the entire squad will be involved in a confusing case that involves a murder, a hacker, and a confessional website in the upcoming episode of the CBS series "CSI: Cyber."

In "iWitness," TV Guide reports that a victim of assault posted a confession on a webpage but regretted it later on. Whatever he posted may have been too delicate that he hired someone to erase the data. But when the hacker turns up dead, the cyber team is called in to investigate. What is the content of the post that merited a dead body? It will take a lot of cunning to find out, which the pros at the Cyber Division surely have.

Last episode was very personal for Avery, as she moved heaven and earth to ensure that FBI Cyber's most wanted criminal and the murderer of her close friend would be spending the rest of his sorry life in jail. Agent Flemming (Andrew Miller) was supposed to talk to an informant who knew about Python when he was killed. The criminal murdered him, but he made sure that Avery heard his screams before he died. He called her using the agent's phone and made her listen while he tortured him.

When Python once again contacted Cyber to warn them about never searching for him again, the team set out to capture him. They started out by looking for the informant that Flemming was supposed to meet before he died. Python got to him first, however, and killed him before he could tell Avery his whereabouts. They struck pay dirt with the next snitch, as before he died, he left a chip that contained valuable information inside his laptop.

Avery finally got a name to go with the alias. His real name was Dante Wilderson and he had psoriasis, hence "Python." The hacker made a mistake by telling Avery details about his childhood. It would not be long until Cyber capture him.

"CSI: Cyber" airs Sundays at 10 p.m. EST on CBS.
