'Criminal Minds' season 11 spoilers: Team investigates case involving corpses and graffiti art in episode 5

A new case will shock even the seasoned agents of BAU in the upcoming episode of "Criminal Minds." Facebook/CBS

The Behavioral Analysis Unit (BAU) will take on a grisly case involving graffiti and dead bodies in the upcoming episode of the CBS series "Criminal Minds."

In "The Night Watch," Cartermatt reports that the team will be asked to investigate a crime in Detroit. A street artist is said to be creating unusual works of art. He is reportedly incorporating corpses into his graffiti, something that will shock even the veteran operatives of the FBI. There is a catch, however, as the suspect is proving to be an elusive predator. Will the BAU catch him in time before he can make another horrible drawing?

Meanwhile, Dr. Tara Lewis (Aisha Tyler) is not faring well after joining the BAU. Her fiancé is complaining that her work is taking most of her time. As a result, their relationship is suffering. Will she be able to convince her beau to let her continue with the job she enjoys doing? Perhaps the answer lies on proper time management between work and her personal life. Viewers have seen how workaholic she can be.

Last episode, a robbery-turned-homicide prompted the unit to board the plane to Las Vegas, New Mexico. Three restaurant workers were killed and the modus operandi of the culprits suggested the work of the same criminals six years ago. The BAU then opened up a cold case where the killer was never apprehended. The whole town was in unrest, as old wounds were again made fresh due to the recent murders.

Upon investigation, the squad was able to determine that the crime was done by the same bad guy, although this time, he appeared to have changed his partner. Celebrity Laundry reports that Duke Mason (Jesse Luken) had an awful childhood. When his father died, his mother uprooted him and his siblings and brought them to Las Vegas. Overtime, he came to hate the place, which perhaps explained why he did all those murders. BAU thought that his new partner, Lester (Stephen Monroe Taylor), was a small fry compared to Duke, but that was where they were wrong.

Lester turned out to be even more violent. After the robbery, he even proceeded to rob a meth pharmacy. The whole hunt culminated in a face-off between them and the police. As they refused to come quietly, the authorities had no choice but to shoot them.

"Criminal Minds" airs Wednesdays at 9 p.m. EST on CBS.
