Dr. Spencer Reid (Matthew Gray Gubler) will finally score a date with a hot girl, but she will turn out to be more than he has bargained for in the upcoming episode of the CBS series "Criminal Minds."
According to TV Line, the genius criminal profiler's momentous moment will happen when the procedural drama returns in Jan. 13 with an all new episode titled "Entropy." In one of his rare times outside the comfort of his lab, Dr. Reid will meet a pleasant-looking young woman named Cat Adams (Aubrey Plaza). As they enjoy an evening of dining together, he will be surprised to find himself at loss on what to do. Cat turns out to be a different breed after all, as she holds Dr. Reid at gunpoint.
She will later reveal that she knows he is an FBI agent and then challenges him to a deadly game of wits. Cat will threaten to kill him and all the people in the restaurant if he cannot answer her demands. Dr. Reid will be forced to play a game of cat and mouse with the crazy lady and outwit her in the end. Will his 187 IQ help him keep his cool in a dire situation as this one? Dr. Reid has always been more of an introvert, but his colleagues at the Behavioral Analysis Unit (BAU) have helped him open up to the world. This time, though, they are not around to save him. Will he manage to outsmart Cat?
Before the CBS series goes on its winter break, there will still be one last episode to be shown. Titled "Future Perfect," this will be a continuation of the previous episode. TV.com reports that the unsub the unit has been tracking has taken a queer liking to medical instruments. When he was young, he enjoyed skinning animals as a hobby. The BAU must find this serial killer before he could strike again. So far, he already killed a couple of Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) agents.
Aaron Hotchner (Thomas Gibson) has already taken down the original suspicion that the culprit worked for a cartel, as his kills were all found in cartel sites. As they dug deep, though, the more that he realized that this was the work of a serial killer who has managed to escape capture by the authorities. Now that they have his profile, will they be able to track him soon?
"Criminal Minds" season 11 episode 11 will air Jan. 13 at 9 p.m. EST on CBS.
