Lebron James may be hurting right now, but the Cavs can heave a big sigh of relief with one of their top stars returning to action.

Kevin Love made his first appearance ever since suffering a shoulder injury in last year's NBA playoffs when the Cleveland Cavaliers met the Toronto Raptors in a preseason matchup. He ended up with six points and four rebounds for the night, while the Cavs dropped an 87–81 loss to the Raptors.

The numbers may not be that impressive but considering that this is just the preseason, the obvious intent was to get Love back in the groove of things.

And as far as head coach David Blatt is concerned, Love made a good account for himself considering he has been out of the basketball scene for quite some time.

Love suffered the shoulder injury during round one of the last NBA playoffs against the Boston Celtics. He has since been sidelined and from the looks of it, Love is ready for the coming NBA wars.

A lot of expectations fall on the broad shoulders of the NBA All Star as he tries to do his part up front for the Cavaliers who are looking for another shot at the NBA title.

With James questionable and Irving not expected to return until 2016, Love is expected to take it up a notch as he tries to make up for the absence of key players.

There is also the holdout of Tristan Thompson which needs to be covered and as long as Love is up to the challenge, the Cavs should be fine.

Love had been criticized for his struggles last season, his first year in a Cavs uniform. After an anxious offseason, he is expected to be more at ease with the Cavaliers and show the fine form he had when he was a Minnesota Timberwolf.
