Fans are eagerly awaiting the release of a huge "Clash of Clans" update, but they may be in for a longer wait. The update could be delayed since Supercell will allegedly add more items to the upcoming update.

According to a BitBag report, fans may be treated to additional Halloween content for the popular mobile game. If this rumor proves to be true, the update may come sometime next month.

The same report hinted that Supercell will be rolling out sneak peeks of the updates soon. It was also reported that Supercell has upgraded its server recently and is only waiting for approval from Apple and Google before they release the updates.

Meanwhile, in preparation for the release, iTech Post posted an article about tips to maximize the gains from the expected updates.

According to the article, for a more successful raid for Multiplayer Battles, players should be strategic and smart since raids can boost their standing if done correctly.

To mount a successful raid, the post included a handy list of resources that gamers can acquire via specific storages and/or drills in "Clash of Clans."

With 100 percent, any resources are stored in a Town Hall;  75 percent and Dark Elixirs will be stored in drills; 50 percent and any gold and/or elixirs stored in the collectors. At 20 percent, any gold and/or elixirs will be stored in the collectors only up to 198,000 though. At 5 percent, Dark Elixirs will be stored in the storage, but only up to 2,000.

The figure is not absolute, however, as the total for the loot is lower if the Town Hall being raided has a lower level than the player's. For Town Halls of a higher level, the loot also increases correspondingly.

"Clash of Clans" players need to remember that the total loot available is automatically reduced if the opponent's Town Hall level is lower than theirs. If the level is higher, the amount of loot obtained (if victorious) will be increased significantly.

The post also urged players not to be complacent and to make sure to reinforce and upgrade their walls every once in a while since these are very crucial in battle.
