Church Army Launch New Website to Support Mission & Evangelism

|PIC1|The Church Army has relaunched its website with a new dynamic design and layout aimed at supporting the mission and evangelism resource needs of the church as well as making the site more accessible to visitors.

The new website provides more detailed and up-to-date information about the ongoing work of the mission group, and site visitors can enjoy the use of additional useful features on the site such as the searchable database of evangelists and projects and online polls and forums.

The site, which also features ideas and free downloadable resources for mission and evangelism, is proving popular with the click count already standing at 6,700.

Church Army Communications Manager, David Coleman, said: “We aim to deliver a site that will equip the church more effectively for mission and evangelism and show how Church Army is making a difference in mission and evangelism here in the UK and Ireland.”

According to Church Army the feedback from site visitors on the improved website has been positive, with comments on improvements in design and functionality, as well as the adjustable text for those with different monitors or visual disability.

|QUOTE|The site has also been praised by users for the access it gives to exploring the Christian faith by promoting links to a variety of related sites.

He added: “Our evangelists and research team provide a great resource for the church, and we wanted to make as much of this as possible available online.”

Church Army also launched its annual review Mission Changes Lives earlier in the month at Lambeth Palace.

The review features the moving stories of real-life mission encounters to highlight the impact of Church Army’s work over the past year.

“To see lives changed through encounters with the living Christ remains our goal,” comments Chief Secretary Philip Johanson. “Church Army evangelists have some exciting and encouraging stories to share of people coming to know God for themselves.”
