Chris August resting after skateboarding injury

Contemporary singer/songwriter Chris August is resting at home after a skateboarding injury.

August, writer of "Starry Night", had to spend a few days in Saint Thomas hospital in Nashville, Tennessee, and cancel some concert dates.

He admitted that the injury to his head was quite painful.

He has thanked fans for their prayers, saying they have helped him a lot. He asks for more prayers to support his recovery.

August tweeted: “Doing better each day but my head is still in a lot of pain. Please keep praying! Thanks!”
