Chief Boden (Eamonn Walker) is not yet out of the chopping block in the upcoming episode of the NBC series "Chicago Fire."
In "I Walk Away," Cartermatt reports that the head of Firehouse 51 will find himself out of the frying pan into the fire, as the internal affairs investigation discovers new proof about his negligence in a recent fire. Things were looking good for Chief Boden after an evidence came to light that bailed him out of a potential dismissal. But with the sudden turn of events, he and his firefighters better be on their toes, as anything can happen.
Meanwhile, Brett (Kara Killmer) and Chili's (Dora Madison) routine call will quickly turn into a disaster, as they encounter a stabbing victim who is bleeding out. The person needs medical attention quickly or he will die. Will the pair be able to get him to the hospital on time? As for the rest of the team, a stuck elevator in a skyscraper will test their patience. Can the day be any tiring than this for the residents of Firehouse 51?
Also in the upcoming episode, candidate Jimmy Borrelli (guest star Steven R. McQueen) has some serious decision to make. His older brother Danny (guest star Andy Ahrens) wants him to be moved to a different house. Will Jimmy follow his advice, or will he stick to where he is at the moment?
Last episode, Boden tried to tell the higher ups that the crack house fire was a possible arson. He said that the residents were the ones who torched it and then stopped them from preventing the fire from spreading. His bosses, however, refused to listen to him. Gabby (Monica Raymund), who was recently transferred to the arson department due to her pregnancy, decided to do some snooping on her own.
In her investigation, she found evidences that it was indeed arson and a professional did it. Severide (Taylor Kinney) then tried to find the neighbor of the owners of the crack house to interrogate. Gabby saved him during the fire and they thought he might be thankful enough to talk about what he saw. He refused to divulge anything, however, which forced the pair to look for supporting evidence elsewhere.
"Chicago Fire" airs Tuesdays at 10 p.m. on NBC.
