The Chicago Bulls continue a seven-game road trip today, Sunday, taking on the Los Angeles Clippers who are currently riding a three-game winning streak despite playing without All-Star forward Blake Griffin.

Griffin had a quadriceps injury last Christmas Day that kept him out of action for some time now, and last week was involved in a fight which led to him injuring his hand.

But in Griffin's absence, the Clippers are playing well and even had a 10-game winning streak which helped them climb in the Western Conference standings.

The streak ended for Lob City but the team is now again on a run and are aiming to win four consecutive hosting the Bulls.

Los Angeles' most recent win was against city rivals the Los Angeles Lakers last Friday.

All-Star point guard Chris Paul led the Clippers in the 105–93 victory, tallying 27 points, one rebound, seven assists, and two steals.

Paul had plenty of help against the Lakers, especially from the second unit, with guard Austin Rivers, forward Lance Stephenson, and two-time Sixth Man of the Year Jamal Crawford listing 17, 16, and 15 points, respectively.

The Clippers are fourth in the West with a 31–16 record, just behind the Golden State Warriors (43-4), San Antonio Spurs (39–8), and the Oklahoma City Thunder (36–13).

Meanwhile, the Bulls are coming off a 114–91 win and it was against the Los Angeles Lakers as well.

The Bulls topped the Lakers Thursday behind All-Star guard Jimmy Butler's double-double performance.

Butler exploded for 26 points, dishing out 10 assists, while also having five rebounds, and four steals.

Chicago also had a huge game from veteran big man Pau Gasol who recorded 21 points, 12 rebounds, seven assists, one steal, and one rejection.

The Bulls are third in the Eastern Conference with a 26–19 record, trailing the Cleveland Cavaliers (34–12) and the Toronto Raptors (32–15).

The game between the Clippers and Cavaliers takes place today, Jan. 31, at 3:30 p.m. EST. To watch via live stream, click here
