Chicago Bulls trade rumors 2016: team to pick up Blake Griffin for Taj Gibson or Nikola Mirotic?

With the Chicago Bulls becoming more competitive in the NBA once again, a lot of fans are speculating about the trades they will make in order to make their roster even more formidable.

According to Mobile & Apps, several NBA trade rumors point out that the Chicago Bulls will make a deal with the LA Clippers soon. The reason behind this speculation is that the Bulls are eyeing on Blake Griffin for their team. After all, the Bulls have been on the lookout for players that superbly perform as forwards. As such, if they are able to get Griffin, they will be able to team him up with their other recently traded players, Dwayne Wade and Rajan Rondo.

Also, another reason why the trade could happen is that the Los Angeles Clippers have put Griffin on the trading block, due to the fact that he had a lot of fights and injuries in the previous season. The Clippers are certainly looking forward to get some good trade offers for this 27 year-old player for the next season of NBA.

The Morning Ledger reports that it is possible for the Bulls to trade Taj Gibson or Nikola Mirotic for Blake Griffin. The Clippers will most likely accept this offer because these two players have the potential to bolster their team's defensive capabilities. Also, fans agree that if this trade turns out to be true, the overall play of the Clippers team will change for the better.

However, another rumor from the Inquisitr states that it is also possible for the Sacramento Kings to trade Rudy Gay to the Chicago Bulls, with a lot of people expecting Taj Gibson and possibly Tony Snell to be offered in exchange. The main reason for this rumor is the fact that Doug McDermott is the only natural small forward for the team, making the need plausible.
