The Swedes will take over the precinct in the upcoming episode of "Brooklyn Nine-Nine." Facebook/Fox

The 99th precinct of the New York City Police Department will team up with Swedish operatives in the upcoming episode of the FOX series "Brooklyn Nine-Nine."

In "The Swedes," TV.com reports that an international case will force Jake (Andy Samberg) and Rosa (Stephanie Beatriz) to investigate alongside the foreigners. While this will be exciting for the viewers, the pair will not like it one bit, as they will find it delimiting their usual operation. Will Jake and Rosa overcome their disinclination; work together with the Swedes; and solve the case?

Meanwhile, Gina (Chelsea Peretti) is preparing for the test that will boost her career, but is not faring well. There are just too many distractions for her and she is finding it hard to concentrate. Amy (Melissa Fumero) and Terry (Terry Crews) will come to her rescue and coach her on how to pass with flying colors. Come exam time, will Gina be able to pass?

Elsewhere, Holt (Andre Braugher) is preparing for his annual squash tournament, when he encounters a snag. He has not chosen a partner yet and he wonders if Charles (Joe Lo Truglio) is up for bat. Will the latter agree to be his squash partner and win the tourney for him this year?

Last episode was chaotic for the operatives after experiencing a particularly harrowing day. An Internet outage forced the residents of 99th to go on manual mode in managing the paperwork. Amy and Charles were especially not pleased, as they had to deal with tons of reports waiting to be finished. Meanwhile, Jake suffered a lot as well, as he had to deal with an unexpected emergency.

Sharon's (Merrin Dungey) baby decided to be born that day, but her husband was not around. Terry and Rosa were busy investigating the Douglass Street murders and they entrusted Sharon under Jake's care. Unfortunately, what was supposed to be a walk-in-the-park task turned out to be a traumatic experience for him. Fortunately, things turned out well, as Sharon gave birth to a healthy, 14-pound baby girl.

"Brooklyn Nine-Nine" airs Sundays at 8:30 p.m. EST on FOX.
