Brandon Bee releases new acoustic EP, Surrendered

|PIC1|Critically acclaimed singer/songwriter, producer and worship leader Brandon Bee will is offering a special gift to his fans this Christmas season in the form of his new acoustic EP, Surrendered.

The EP released last week and has been chosen as a featured selection on iTunes' "New & Noteworthy" section in the Christian & Gospel genre.

Surrendered offers five new acoustic songs that Bee's fans will know from his dynamic concert performances, plus an acoustic version of "Your Holiness" from his recently released full-length debut project, This is the Revolution. Listeners will not only have the opportunity to download the new EP, but can also make comments and write reviews.

Whereas Bee's previous work has revealed him to be a producer who can carefully craft a full, modern worship band project, Surrendered strips back the production, highlighting the emotional range of his expressive voice. A spare interpretation of a beloved hymn ("Turn Your Eyes") flows into a cry for intimacy with God wrapped in lush, intertwining harmonies ("Bigger"); powerful messages of praise ("Your Holiness") lead into evocative word paintings declaring the glory of the Father ("Purple Mountain"). Deft and inventive performances support uncompromising messages that invite listeners to go deeper with God.

Bee first came to the attention of the production world under the mentorship of producer Lou Carto (Randy Travis, B.B. King) and Dove Award-nominated Christian artist/producer Morgan Cryar. After moving back to the Northwest from Nashville, Bee began producing bands in Seattle's growing Christian music scene and traveling to Nashville, Los Angeles, Las Vegas and Canada to produce artists including Amber Pacific, Jaime Jamgochian, Juno Award nominee/Island Award winner Matthew James and Grammy Award nominee/Dove Award winner Stacie Orrico.

In addition, his behind-the-scenes talents have brought him to the attention of many of the music industry's top companies, including Geffen Records, Sony BMG Music Entertainment and Warner Music Group, who have tapped him for development work.
Bee, a sought-after worship leader at churches and conferences across the country, is part of a new generation of worship leaders that has been influenced by the music of Switchfoot, U2 and Coldplay, yet still honors the devotional spirit of the Integrity, Vineyard and Maranatha music of decades past.

Brandon Bee's Surrendered EP is available on iTunes, Amazon MP3, Rhapsody and other online retailers. This Is The Revolution is available on Save the City Records, a division of Rain On Me Productions and is distributed through Bema Direct.
