'Bones' season 10 spoilers: Booth to be freed but imprisonment will have effect on him

In the tenth season of "Bones", Brennan will find a way to free Booth but his imprisonment will have an effect on him once he gets out.

In the final episode of "Bones" season 9, Booth was shot but he will survive the shooting and will find out that he was framed and lost his career. Due to the betrayal and alleged conspiracy, Booth will go soul searching as he feels that the people he trusted the most let him down.

Booth was arrested in the end of season 9 for killing three federal agents and was canned. Next season will pick up where the previous season left off. Booth is still behind bars. However, Brennan eventually finds a way to free him but the events of his imprisonment will apparently go on to have a major effect on Booth and will direct the course of the whole season.

Next season, fans will see Booth in a very difficult situation as he has to face huge trouble legally and professionally. Booth was charged with a capital crime and the case against him seemed very strong. Booth also has to deal with the burden of the FBI, the organization he worked with for years, hunting him.

Avid viewers can expect that Booth will be in custody and will be waiting in jail for his trial as the season 10 opens. He was incarcerated with other criminals, something that a law enforcement officer never dreamed of.

Inside Pulse cited executive producer Stephen Nathan who said, "We're going to shake someone's trust in everything they've believed in. Booth has never been in that situation before. He's trusted the government and put his life on the line. ... Everything has been damaged — head, heart, body. Putting it back together is a challenge."

"Bones" season 10 will return to FOX on September 25 at 8 p.m. EST
