Players willing to spend more to enhance their gaming experience for "Battlefield 1," can now purchase Battlepacks using real world currency.  Battlepacks gives gamers access to some of the cosmetic weapon skins that can be obtained from playing the first-person shooter video game.

According to Game Rant, EA DICE has just added the microtransaction option for "Battlefield 1" in the form of Battlepacks. As fans can remember, these items are normally given as a means of rewarding players after finishing some multiplayer matches in-game. Their contents are just certain cosmetic weapon enhancements that have no other effect except changing the look of some weapons.

The Battlepacks for "Battlefied 1" can either be purchased on their own or by bundles of three, five, ten, or twenty. Gamers who buy more will save more as one pack will cost $2, but a three-pack bundle will only cost $5.50. On the other hand, the five, ten, and twenty-pack bundles will cost $9, $17 and $30, respectively.

The packs will contain random items that can either be obtained in-game or exclusively purchased through the microtransactions. The feature is part of the massive Fall Update that was released just over a week ago, but the microtransactions revolving around these have just been implemented more recently.

This system was also implemented back in "Battlefield 4," but thankfully the entire Battlepack system has received a major overhaul with the new game. As such, instead of having Battlepacks of varying rarity — Bronze, Silver, and Gold tiers —the new system only features one standard pack that could give weapon skins of any rarity: Special, Designated and Legendary.

Meanwhile, DICE has been pretty vigilant in dealing with the issues for "Battlefield 1," according to Game N Guide. DICE's Nils Hallberg said in a Twitter post that any issues encountered in the game is unintended and that they are investigating the possible causes of the problems.
