EA DICE's latest first-person shooter video game "Battlefield 1" is just days away from seeing its worldwide release and fans are now looking forward to finally getting their hands on the game. Historically, PC versions of EA's games had always had the advantage of having more options when it comes to editing and recording gameplay videos thanks to additional camera options.

However, the game's developers have apparently decided to make those options available to console versions, making it easier to create professional looking replay videos and movies.

In the past, console gamers were only limited to recording raw gameplay footage of their games, which was just about the only option they had. With the new game, however, EA DICE has decided to add what they call an enhanced spectator mode to not only the PC version but also to the PlayStation 4 and the Xbox One versions as well.

The new enhanced spectator mode was apparently created specifically for cinematic productions and for players to fully express themselves when recording and creating gameplay movies.

The new spectator mode will allow players to fully control their in-game cameras which include options on how a camera will be following any given unit. Players will also be able to control the camera's depth of field as well as add several filters to add a more dramatic effect to suit any given scene.

While the camera system doesn't have all the bells and whistles like Valve's Source Filmmaker, it does provide all the necessary tools to at least churn out decent videos. Given the fact that it is now available to console players is also a big step for the title as it will allow for more immersive streams and videos of the game online.

"Battlefield 1" is set to be released worldwide on Friday, Oct. 21 for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and for Microsoft Windows.

Deluxe Edition players will be able to play the game early on Oct. 18, while Xbox One EA Access subscribers will get the game even earlier on Oct. 13.
