The "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" trailer is finally dawning on the big screen very soon.

A report posted by Collider mentioned that the highly anticipated first look for the Batman v Superman film will come out very soon. In fact, the trailer is expected to be revealed in May.

The trailer is expected to come during the premiere of the post-apocalyptic film "Mad Max: Fury Road," which stars Tom Hardy in the titular role and Charlize Theron as the renegade imperator Furiosa. The film is slated to be released on May 15, almost a year before the "Batman v Superman" film is released.

The report claims that Warner Bros. is trying to veer away from showing the trailer during the release of "Marvel's The Avengers: Age of Ultron," which could be the talk of the town once it is released.

Variety, on the other hand, confirmed the validity of the report based on several sources.

The trailer will feature the first look of the film apart from the still images of some of the characters like Jesse Eisenberg as Lex Luthor and Jason Momoa as Aquaman. But the very first footage of the film had been shown to the attendees of the 2014 San Diego Comic Con, where Superman was seen battling Batman on top of a building in Gotham City.

ScreenRant reported that fans already began to talk about several theories about what the trailer will feature. According to the fan-made theories, the teaser will only share a portion of the film, but will not reveal the major details of the movie.

The Zack Snyder-helmed movie is scheduled to be released in March 26, 2016, and it stars Ben Affleck as Batman, Henry Cavill as Superman, Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman, Amy Adams as Lois Lane, Laurence Fishburne as Perry White, Jeremy Irons as Alfred Pennyworth, and Ray Fisher as Cyborg.
