'Batman: the Telltale Series' release date news: Episode 3's new trailer released

Batman: The TellTale Series TellTale Games

The third episode of the "Batman: The Telltale Series" has a new trailer, which details a lot of spoilers for fans of the caped crusader. Regardless, it is good to see that Telltale is back on track with its schedule, as the mid-season chapter is now being released a month after Episode 2.

According to Game Rant, the new episode is entitled the "New World Order," and it was released last Tuesday, Oct. 25, for most of the major gaming platforms. However, those who still use the Xbox One, as well as mobile devices, will have to wait a bit longer.

Regardless, with its launch, the company behind the game — Telltale Games — has released a new trailer which of course features the newest villain Batman will face. For people who do not like spoilers, however, it is not advisable to watch it.

It is typical for Telltale Games to provide a short description of the new episode of the "Batman" game, as well as a trailer. As such, for those who still have not finished the second episode or for those who only plan to play the game once it is completed, there will be plenty of spoilers ahead.

In the newly released trailer, the third episode will feature a brutal attack broadcasted on live TV. The incident, which was perpetrated by the Penguin, has left Gotham City devastated. Bruce Wayne — aka Batman — will have to dig much deeper into the Children of Arkham, uncovering their web of intrigue.

Meanwhile, according to the University Herald, Selina Kyle, a mysterious character, has revealed more information about herself after meeting Bruce at a closed-door meeting.

After Penguin's assault in Gotham, the new mayor Harvey Dent has changed for the worse despite being Bruce's friend. Regardless, it will prove to be a critical time as it will determine the fate of Bruce Wayne as Batman.
