Although beset by glitches and problems when it was launched, "Batman: Arkham Knight" still continues to expand its player base. This has prompted developer Rocksteady and publisher Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment to continue with the steady support for the latest entry in the "Arkham" series, releasing patches and DLCs to expand the content.

The latest patch for "Batman: Arkham Knight" is a whopping 4.03 GB for a full patch download, which introduces bug fixes and gameplay improvements as well as the new Photo Mode. The new option gives players expanded control over the game, taking screenshots of in-game events and giving editing and sharing options for the images.

Meanwhile, aside from tweaking the title's system and gameplay, patch 1.05 may also have given players a brief glimpse on upcoming DLC packs. The new patch gives players a sneak peek into the "Crime Fighter Challenge Pack 1," rumored to be coming by next month. Although details are still sketchy, game observer sites such as Gearnuke supposes that the DLC will be a number of missions involving combat-based challenges. In addition, the add-on will give players a choice between Batman, Catwoman, Nightwing, and Robin as playable characters.

Speculations also say that since the September DLC is numbered as the very first one, it follows that Rocksteady and Warner Bros. intend to follow up the "Crime Fighter" pack with other DLCs.

In addition to the upcoming September release, players are also expecting a number of add-ons for this month. It is already confirmed that for August, there will be a "1989 Batmobile Pack" featuring Batman skin and the Batmobile from the 1989 "Batman" movie; plus, players will also have access to the "Bat Family Skins Pack." Specifically for console versions will be the release of skins from "The Dark Knight Returns" and "Batman Beyond" shows, originally rolled out as pre-order bonuses for the PC version of "Batman: Arkham Knight."
