A&E already aired the shocking and bloody finale of "Bates Motel" season 3, and now, fans cannot wait to find out what happens next for Norman (Freddie Highmore) after his crazy delusions led to another murder.

Although the network has yet to confirm the return of "Bates Motel" for season 4, co-showrunner Carlton Cuse told the Hollywood Reporter that the season 3 finale does not show the end of their story.

Meanwhile, in an interview with TV Line, co-showrunner Kerry Ehrin and lead cast members Highmore, Vera Farmiga, Nestor Carbonell, and Max Thierot talked about the plans for the TV series when it returns.

Ehrin confirmed that if the network will order another season for the "Psycho" prequel, Norman will have more cross-dressing scenes showing his illusions about his mother Norma (Farmiga), which can be challenging for the production next season.

"But challenges are what make it fun. I try to remind myself, 'How would this look if it was really, really happening?' And then I try and stay in that place... Also, I can't wait to dress Freddie up," the series co-showrunner said.

Thierot also delved into the budding romance between his character Dylan and Emma (Olivia Cooke) after they kissed in the season finale. He said that it was nice for Dylan to finally feel loved by someone. He is constantly looking for love from his family, but he rarely finds it.

According to the actor, "For him to finally have this happiness is a huge relief to him."

Cuse also talked about the Dylan-Emma romance in another interview.

"It didn't feel possible for the Dylan and Emma relationship to start to blossom until this point," Cuse told Zap2it. "For quite a while we've talked about Emma and Dylan becoming more connected. I wouldn't want to say too much, but clearly there's more story between them that will unfold next season."

A&E has yet to announce the season 4 return of "Bates Motel."
