"Attack on Titan" season 2 will drop some major bombs that will make the viewers' jaws drop. One of the revelations set to be explored in the much-awaited season is the secret the Reiss family has been so good at keeping.

Apparently, apart from the royal blood running in the household, it is also speculated that the Reisses can transform into Titans. The family allegedly shares this extraordinary ability with Captain Erwan Smith, although these claims have yet to be corroborated.

There's word that Reiner Braun and Bertolt Hoover have this very same ability as well. Overall, the season is expected to uncover the identities of the humans with the ability to switch to Titan form.

Other bombshells to be revealed in season 2 allegedly involve the unmasking of the Armored and Colossal Titan.

Individualities will be big in season 2, with rumors claiming that it will end up revealing that Lenz, after running away and changing her persona to train with the army, is in fact Historia Reiss.

To make the upcoming season all the more ominous, rumor has it that a major death will take place as well. The character in question is Levi, which should shock a lot of "Attack on Titan" fans as the character is of great importance. But just like the speculations mentioned above, there are no solid explanations or evidence pertaining to the demise of the character other than he will die a hero.

According to iSchool Guide, his desire to help Eren, Mikasa and Armin will put him in greater danger that will eventually take his life. His concern for them will also put Levi in a difficult situation, in which he might choose between the trio and his fellow Survey Corps Erwin Smith.

If the speculation on Smith being a Titan (that his very own group has worked all his life to get rid of) is accurate, all hell will break loose in "Attack on Titan" season 2.

The hit anime series is set to return next year.
