Just like Resident Evil, Tekken and Silent Hill, another game may hit the big screen next year. According to rumors, Assassin's Creed may make its film debut in 2015 starring "12 Years A Slave" actor Michael Fassbender.
Deadline.com reported that Adam Cooper and Bill Collage are rewriting the movie, who wrote the script for 'Exodus: Gods & Kings'. The movie was slated for release on August 2015 and Michael Fassbender was confirmed to star in the adaptation. The film is rumored to be directed by Justin Kurzel but no final announcements have been made about this yet and few details were revealed about the purported film.
It seemed that Ubisoft had it good as it managed to develop a profitable franchise game as well as an upcoming film adaptation.
Meanwhile, Assassin's Creed 5: Unity will be released twice soon. The first release is for the next generation consoles of PS4 and Xbox One, which is reported to be called Unity. The normal Assassin's Creed game will arrive to PS3 and Xbox 360. It is still unconfirmed as to when the game will hit the shelves but the speculated release date of the game is in November.
Assassin's Creed 5: Unity will take place in the French Revolution and can be played with a four player. Few spoilers hinted the settings and features of the upcoming highly-addictive game. In the fifth installment of the series, Ubisoft presents what seems to be the main character in the middle of an execution scene in Notre Dame Church in Paris during the French revolution. No game play though has been released yet.
Not many other additional details have been revealed to the public yet, but creators of the game have assured fans that extended trailers and possibly demo games will be unveiled at the upcoming Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3) on June 10 to 12, 2014 at Los Angeles Convention Center, California.
