When Roy (Colton Haynes) eventually returns to Star City in "Arrow" season 4B, it will be interesting to see how he will accept that his ex-girlfriend Thea (Willa Howard) has already moved on from him.
According to TV Line, Roy aka Arsenal will be making a comeback in the hit The CW series. His reappearance will be due to Noah Kuttler aka the Calculator (Tom Amandes), Felicity's (Emilly Bett Rickards) estranged father. The villain will reportedly be luring Roy out of hiding and use him to do his bidding. Thea's former boyfriend will be used to commit crimes and Team Arrow will have no choice but to take him down.
Although most of his return will be focused on the action side of things, Roy's reunion with Thea will also be interesting to see. Now that she is seeing Oliver's (Stephen Amell) campaign manager Parker (Alex Davis), Roy's presence will undoubtedly cause an awkward situation. The fact that her team will need to stop him from being Calculator's pawn will also weigh down in Thea's mind. Will the pair be able to look at each other's eyes without regrets?
Meanwhile, Arrow fans are also counting the days Felicity meets her diabolical father. The genius strategist and manipulator's arrival could not have come at a bad time, as his daughter is still in the hospital. The promo for the upcoming episode 10, "Blood Debts," shows that she has survived the fatal shooting of Damian Darhk's (Neal McDonough) minions. What stupefies fans who awaits news of her recovery is that the clip reveals that the doctors will not divulge what is wrong with her.
Thea is telling Oliver that his fiancée is already out of surgery, but the doctors could not tell them her exact condition. The scene then cuts to Felicity's mother (Charlotte Ross) who is crying, while Oliver tries to comfort her. The last part of the teaser shows the green vigilante standing on a grave, vowing to whomever is buried there that he will kill Darhk. Since Felicity is already out of harm's way, who can possibly be dead among Oliver's friends?
"Arrow" will return on Wednesday, Jan. 20, at 8 p.m. EST on The CW.
