A new report from Buzzfeed is claiming that the new iPhone or pair of iPhones, expected to be the 6s and the 6s Plus, will be launched by Apple on Sept. 9. That day last year, the iPhone 6 and the iPhone 6 Plus, which are now the Cupertino company's bestselling smartphones, were also introduced.

In terms of specs, the reigning rumors claim that the upcoming flagships will boast the Force Touch feature. Nowhereelse.fr has recently released photos that allegedly prove that the next iPhones will have the feature first seen on the Apple Watch.

The Force Touch responds with different functions depending on the pressure of the user's touch. Apple has already integrated the feature on the new Macbook. It is expected that the new iPhone will be the next one to have it.

As detailed by Forbes, Force Touch needs direct access to contact the surface. The photos posted by Nowhereelse.fr show the iPhone 6s sporting a small rectangular access panel engraved into metal plate, which could be the component it needs for the Force Touch feature to work.

Speaking to Business Insider, Cole Rise, the creator of iPhone photography app Litely, shared that there will be "a lot about it in terms of its capabilities."

"Say, if you wanted to change the color of something, you could Force Touch and it would change that," he explained. "We have this awesome before and after thing where we have to use two fingers, and people don't necessarily know how to do that without reading the instructions. [You place] two fingers on the screen to see how your picture changes. Force Touch may be a really good way to alleviate that."

Apple is still mum about the iPhone 6s and 6s Plus although new details from the tech giant are expected to come out soon, especially with less than a month away from the alleged launch.
