Anne Graham Lotz is encouraging Christians to do something about the racial tension brewing in America.

"It's been said that the only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men to do nothing. The encroaching evil in our land is almost breathtaking. Heart-stopping. As it pours into every nook and cranny of our culture, it is also going to be life-altering and life-shattering," the founder of AnGel Ministries and daughter of world-renowned evangelist Billy Graham writes on her blog.

Lotz says she has asked the Lord what she can do after reading about the tragic shootings in Louisiana and Minnesota, and she says God provided her with four things to do.

The first thing, according to her, is to pray. "It's time for you and me to establish a set-aside time of consistent, daily prayer," she says.

"Secondly, we need to pick up the sword of the Spirit which is the Word of God. This is a time to daily, consistently spend time in God's Word, strengthening the foundation of our faith as we listen to what God has to say. But don't just read it. Apply it. Obey it. Live it out."

The third thing Christians must do is pursue righteousness and rise above what is popular or politically correct. Lotz says, adding that Christians must be good examples to others by standing up for justice, truth, kindness, and love.

Lastly, Christians need to proclaim Jesus. The Bible verse John 10:10 warns that "the thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy," but Jesus comes so people "may have life, and have it to the full," she says.

Lotz says Christians must be ready at any notice to share the Gospel, and give a reason for others to see God's light and hope in them.
