Angelina Jolie, Brad Pitt rumors: Actress angry ex-husband has turned to Jennifer Aniston for support?

With Angelina Jolie's divorce from Brad Pitt still in the spotlight, the actor reportedly has turned to his former wife Jennifer Aniston for comfort. Apparently, rumor has it that Jolie was furious upon knowing about Pitt's reunion with the "Friends" star — as he allegedly is hoping to rekindle the friendship with his ex.

An insider of In Touch Weekly exclusively revealed that Pitt had renewed his friendship with Aniston, as she has been helping him get through the nasty split with his wife. The source said, "Jen's always been Angelina's greatest rival when it comes to Brad. She hates the way that she has always been depicted as the evil femme fatale and Jen as the girl-next-door victim in the famous love triangle."

The informant further added that although Pitt has been seeking Aniston's support during his split with Jolie, he would never dream of wrecking his former wife's marriage with Justin Theroux. On the other side, the source claimed that Aniston took delight in Jolie's anger, as she got her well-deserved revenge.

Moreover, the source divulged, "Jen feels Angelina lorded her relationship with Brad over her all these years." Pitt reportedly apologized to Aniston for leaving her for Jolie and for the pain he had caused her back then. With the supposed apology, the actress was utterly won over.

While Pitt allegedly has found comfort in Aniston, Jolie has turned to her children for support. In a recent interview with The New York Times, the actress said that her six kids helped her so much. She explained, "We're really such a unit. They're the best friends I've ever had. Nobody in my life has ever stood by me more."

The "Maleficent" star is slowly but surely picking up the pieces after the messy split from Pitt last year. Her main concern right now is to create a happy and healthy environment for the kids. She said, "None of it's easy. It's very difficult, a very painful situation, and I just want my family healthy. They're getting better."

Jolie added that she does not expect everyone to understand or like her. She said that she has no problems with that because she and her kids know who she is. Meanwhile, Pitt and Aniston have yet to comment on the issue. Fans are then advised to take the rumors with a grain of salt.
