Google's newest Android Lollipop and all its forms and updates continue to march into more devices. The Samsung Galaxy Note 4, for one, will finally plunge into the update. According to Tech Times, a new user manual for the powerful phablet as shared by Samsung itself has outlined the changes to appear in the 5.7-inch handset with the 5.0.1 update onboard. The site also revealed that the Note 4's jump will happen at the end of January. The models to go in transition are SM-910C, SM-N910F, SM-N910H, SM-N910CQ, SM-910G and SM-910U.

Ecumenical News, on the other hand, reports that the superior smartphone will go straight for Android 5.0.2. The site noted that the changes will not be very conspicuous except for the alteration in the notification tray, which will have notifications showing up on the lock screen.

In other news, HTC also has some Android Lollipop updates on the cards. As per Latin Post, HTC One M8 users can finally slip into the update. HTC Product Management Vice President Mo Versi himself informed users through Twitter that unlocked and developer editions of the flagship smartphone can download the update, which will have Lollipop fused with the Sense 6.

Christian Post added that a Cyanogen CM mod custom ROM nightly, a component of the Android Open Project (AOSP) 5.0.2 Lollipop, is also launching. However, it still needs some major touch-ups to kill off some irking bugs.

The Google firmware, conversely, has users of the One M7 waiting. Cyanogen gives an option for them as well. The CyanogenMod CM12 series Android 5.0.2 Lollipop update will doll up the device with numerous customization options, more than what the one from Google actually allows, IB Times reported. This sounds like a solid alternate for the update, which is yet to make it to the 2013 HTC flagship. So those who want to give it a try can check the process here.
