Android 6.0 Marshmallow release date update for Samsung Galaxy Note 5, Note 4, S6 and S5 in November 2015?

The drill has always been to have the newest Android operating system running on Google's Nexus devices first. Android 6.0 Marshmallow is no different as it is expected to come native to the so-called Nexus 5X and Nexus 6P the company is said to be releasing this year. Meanwhile, Samsung reportedly plans to bring the sweet new software to its devices as early as possible as well.

According to reports, the South Korean manufacturer is eyeing to update a bunch of its recent offerings, namely the Samsung Galaxy S5 and the newer Galaxy S6, as well as the Galaxy Note 4 and Note 5, the latter of which was released just last month. There's no official confirmation or hint from the tech firm and there is also no accessible information on how early Samsung plans to do it.

Each device on the list is updated to Android Lollipop. When Lollipop first came out back in the second week of November last year, Samsung jumped right in and updated its latest devices by December. It is, therefore, likely that it won't take long for the company to bring the latest OS to its high-end smartphones.

Android 6.0 Marshmallow has no definite release date but Google already announced an event that will take place in San Francisco on Sept. 29. And if the blatant Marshmallow theme is any indication, this will be the date the new OS will be seen. It is also expected that the long-rumored Nexus 5X and Nexus 6P allegedly developed by LG and Huawei, respectively, will be launched there.

It remains to be seen how early the Samsung Galaxy S5, Galaxy S6, Galaxy Note 4 and Galaxy Note 5 will don Android 6.0 Marshmallow, but if Samsung really is working hard for an early rollout, reports say that it could happen by November.
