Thousands of believers are working together to share the Gospel as part of the Love Ethiopia initiative.

They are spreading the Good News through evangelistic festivals across seven Ethiopian cities, including capital Addis Ababa where Don Moen is leading worship.

The goal is to reach every level of society across the nation with the life-changing message of Jesus Christ and promote greater unity and collaboration among churches in order to multiply the long-term impact of the campaign.

The festivals are being run by a core team of local representatives and volunteers led by the Evangelical Churches Fellowship of Ethiopia, Mekane Yesus and Kale Heywot.

They feature children's activities, professional BMX shows, live music and clear Gospel presentations.

Ethiopia is a special place for Palau and his wife, Wendy, as it was there that they adopted their daughter, Sadie, five years ago.

In the three years that followed, Palau worked on a continent-wide campaign to reach 10 capital cities of Africa in 10 years with the Good News of Jesus Christ.

Ethiopian church leaders caught the vision for outreach on home turf when they travelled to Burundi in 2011 where Palau had just finished an outreach in the capital city of Bujumbura.

They invited him to work together on a similar evangelistic effort in Ethiopia, which kicked off on October 28 and is due to end on November 17.

The outreach is being helped out by Next Generation Alliance partner evangelists Alan Greene, Richard Hamlet, Reid Saunders, Keith Cook and Blair Carlson.
