Another big name is checking in at the hotel in "American Horror Story" season 5. TV Line reports that actress and supermodel Naomi Campbell will appear in a multi-episode arc as "a fashion editor who pays the ultimate price for her critiques."
Campbell will be on the set of the latest season of the popular FX anthology starting next week and will share some screen time with the show's lead star and "AHS" newcomer Lady Gaga, as well as with Angela Bassett, who will play the role of Ramona this season.
Campbell is fresh off a gig on Fox musical drama success "Empire," whose character engaged in an intense confrontation with Cookie. Now, the actress is headed for another throwdown, this time with the pop sensation Lady Gaga. On Twitter, she expressed how thrilled she is to be on the show.
Meanwhile, "Mistresses" star Helena Mattson recently revealed her appearance in "American Horror Story: Hotel." The actress, known for her stint as a half-human, half-alien in the sci-fi horror film "Species: The Awakening," will be in the show.
Not much is known about her role, named Agnetha as per her IMDB profile, although it is expected she will appear in the premiere episode of the season titled "Checking In." The actress also did not give away much in her Instagram post where she revealed her new horror gig.
"Another day at work. Getting ready to film some scary stuff," she captioned her photo.
"American Horror Story: Hotel" will also star Sarah Paulson (Hypodermic Sally), Kathy Bates (Iris), Evan Peters (Mr. March), Emma Roberts, Chloe Sevigny, Finn Wittrock, and Wes Bentley. The new arrivals include Max Greenfield, Denis O'Hare, Cheyenne Jackson, Matt Bomer (Donovan) and Richard T. Jones (Detective Hahn).
"American Horror Story: Hotel" will premiere in October. Creator Ryan Murphy said it will be "a little bloodier and grislier I think than anything that we've done before; it's straight horror this year." Filming has already commenced earlier this month.
