"American Horror Story: Hotel" is definitely one of the most-awaited series by viewers. Sarah Paulson, who will be back for another insane role in the new season, said that fans of the series will feel that the latest run of the horror anthology is both different and familiar.

"It's very different than previous seasons," the actress, who will play the role of Hypodermic Sally in the new season, told Deadline.

"You know, to me it sort of shares some similarities with 'Asylum' in the sense that it's in a hotel, it's in one place," she added, referring to the hit series' second season.

She explained that "American Horror Story: Hotel" reminds her of the said season because in both, "everything revolves around" one location. To the actress, this is an interesting and exciting theme to explore once more. Doing this season with Lady Gaga thrills the star as well.

Meanwhile, fans of the series know that each one of Paulson's characters through all four seasons made it out alive and the actress is very proud of that. However, there are reports that her role in this season will bite the dust at some point and she isn't worried about it at all.

"I sort of feel like some of the characters who have died on the show have died in these fantastic ways that are incredibly memorable," the actress stated. "And sometimes audiences get very attached to those stories and how it all went down. So I wouldn't mind being involved in that kind of thing at all."

Just recently, two teasers for "American Horror Story: Hotel" went live. Although the clips are very short, they are powerful enough to stimulate fear, horror and excitement. The footages are titled "Do Not Disturb" and "Beauty Rest."

"American Horror Story: Hotel" airs Oct. 7.
