Actress Emma Roberts will be in the horror train for quite a long while. After starring in "Scream Queens" as Kappa sorority president Chanel, the star is booked for at least a one- to two-episode stay in "American Horror Story: Hotel," which series creator Ryan Murphy discussed with Entertainment Weekly.
"Emma is doing an arc on American Horror Story at the end once Scream Queens is done but we haven't figured it out totally yet," Murphy, who is the man behind both series, revealed.
He added in an interview with Zap2it that the actress "has a great thing with Evan Peters at the end," saying, "She loves the show and wanted to keep being a part of it, so she'll probably do two episodes? Not sure. Or maybe she'll be too exhausted from Scream Queens...what with all that running from the killer!"
At the moment, it looks like Roberts' comeback in "AHS" is set in stone. Murphy further told Zap2it that the actress, who starred in the series' "Coven" and "Freak Show," will "[come] at the end."
Roberts, on the other hand, told E! News that it would be "a dream come true" to be back in the hit horror anthology, adding that she will appear in the end, just like what Murphy said. She is set to reunite with staple cast members Denis O'Hare, Kathy Bates, Angela Bassett, Sarah Paulson and Finn Wittrock, and will work alongside newbies Lady Gaga, Cheyenne Jackson, and Max Greenfield.
As for the season's plot, Murphy said during a chat with Deadline that the season will have the same vibe as season 1, "Murder House," which he described as a "very primal season."
"Everybody's great fear is about the bogeyman under the bed in their house, and this feels similar to me in that when you check into a hotel, there are certain things beyond your control. Other people have keys to your room; they can come in there. You're not exactly safe, it's a very unsettling idea," Murphy said.
The hotel will be open for business in October.
