Actress says Berlusconi helped her find God

An actress who reportedly helped Silvio Berlusconi organise his “bunga bunga” parties has claimed that the Italian prime minister helped her to find faith in God.

Sabina Began, 36, who calls herself “Queen Bee”, says she helped Berlusconi to organise the parties because he was “lonely”.

“Bunga bunga” refers to a sex game played by guests at the parties.

She described the prime minister as a “man of faith” in an interview with an Italian radio show.

“He loves God, he speaks to God. He is a believer and thanks to him I have become religious as well.

“He is a very spiritual man. He has helped me to find faith as well.

“He is a man of faith and his home is decorated with crucifixes. He is very spiritual and he has put me on a spiritual path.”

Miss Began, who has a tattoo dedicated to Mr Berlusconi on her ankle, was not immediately taken seriously by the radio host. He asked if she was joking but she insisted she was telling the truth.

The German-born actress described Mr Berlusconi as a “dear friend” who is “always willing to help anyone out”.

She insisted that nothing sexual happened at the parties she organised.

“They were just for friends and there was eating, singing and dancing, nothing else.”

Mr Berlusconi is due in court next week in relation to charges that he paid an underage prostitute for sex at one of the parties.
