2015 Black Friday news: Best laptop deals for this year's Black Friday event

With Black Friday just around the corner, shoppers and retailers alike are gearing up for another massive event to happen this year. As with previous instances, this year's Black Friday sale event is expected to come with numerous deals and discounts on almost all types of items, particularly electronics and tech gear.

For those who would like to switch or upgrade their mobile workstations, this year's Black Friday event is no exception. Both online and brick-and-mortar retailers have discounted laptops and hybrids in their lineups.

Some of the retailers have already announced their 2015 Black Friday lineup, including laptops. eBay currently has a "while supplies last" deals on MacBook Air, with the lowest price tag at $549.99 for a 13-inch, i5 Core, 4-GB RAM and 128-GB storage specs. Meanwhile, the 13.3-inch laptop with the same specs but with a flash storage costs $1,014.99, down 23 percent from its original price of $1,315.

Best Buy also has a selection of laptops currently on sale. Budget-conscious shoppers can get deals on basic mobile workstations such as a Lenovo IdeaPad 100s for only $150, or a Lenovo G50 with 15.6-inch display and i3 Core, 4-GB RAM and 1-TB storage, for only $329.99. Meanwhile, Apple fans can get a 13.3-inch MacBook Pro for $100 less, with a price tag of only $1,349.

There are also discounted prices for tablet hybrids like the Surface Pro 3 from Microsoft, with a $699.99 price tag for the basic model.

Sam's Club, meanwhile, has a current promotion for a standard laptop for just $799. In terms of specs, the HP Pavilion HD WLED currently listed is an above-average unit for its current price range. It has an Intel Core i7 processor, 12-GB RAM, 1-TB hard drive storage, and already runs on Windows 10. In addition to the lowered tag, the current promotion also offers free shipping.
