The new episodes for the second half of "The Flash's" first season will finally air on Tuesday, which means that Barry Allen (Grant Gustin) will finally have to face the new threats that are looming over at Central City.

In the upcoming episodes, Barry will finally find out who the unnamed figure that he encountered during the midseason finale was, and discover who really killed her mother with the help of a little time travel. Executive producer Andrew Kreisberg teased about the upcoming episode during an interview with TV Line.

According to him, "There's an unexpected, accidental time travel coming up and it is played both for hilarity and darkness. It happens in an episode we're really excited it — the first Weather Wizard episode with Liam McIntyre."

The said time travel sequence will reportedly reveal a clear picture of how Barry's mom was murdered. Based on the press panel held last week during the Television Critics Association winter tour, that incident will be seen from the point of view of the Reverse Flash.

Barry already encountered the figure believed to be the Reverse Flash during the midseason finale of the show, but he had no idea who he was and where he came from. However, actor Tom Cavanagh admitted that his character Dr. Harrison Wells is the real Reverse Flash.

But if Barry could still trust Dr. Wells in the upcoming episode of the show, Gustin simply stated that Barry's trust and respect for his mentor remains.

"Yeah, when we come back with episode ten, it's still 100%. Barry has no other option or reason for anything else at this point. Wells has been there for him. They've had their moments and they both can be emotional characters but Barry still trusts Wells with his life at this point, when we come back," the actor said.

"The Flash" returns on The CW on Tuesday, Jan. 20.
