'Super Smash Bros 4' new glitch gives Ryu an advantage over Donkey Kong, Charizard

The latest character to grace the hit fighting title "Super Smash Bros. 4" is "Street Fighter's" Ryu. Ryu is one of the two new fighters added to the roster for this month, the other being Lucas. The developers reportedly intended for Ryu's appearance in the game to be a nod at his old-school beginnings, and all of the elements, from the sound effects to attack button patterns, are all based on his previous appearances in "Street Fighter" games.

However, the old button patterns for Ryu's attacks may have unlocked an infinite combo glitch. According to reports, Ryu can easily knock out opponents using a string of Focus Attacks. Using this move, also called Dragon Punch, in succession will quickly rack up damage to enemies, and will not even give them time to recover. After a succession of Dragon Punches, and once enemy damage becomes sufficient, Ryu can then launch his special moves to knock out opponents easily.

The glitch, though, doesn't work with all fighters that Ryu will face. According to YouTube user Dezmu, the glitch for infinite Dragon Punch only works on two characters, Donkey Kong and Charizard. In addition, the glitch only works if the player continuously holds the left or right button simultaneously with the Dragon Punch.

With the glitch already appearing online, it is inevitable that a fix will be worked out with the next update or patch for "Super Smash Bros. 4" but as of press time, it seems that the combo move still works.
