The beta for "Street Fighter 5" is now back online, although not like how it was the first time.

At this point, the version of the beta for "Street Fighter 5" that is currently online is limited at best.

According to Gamespot, some people are actually managing to play "Street Fighter 5" online. As of now, the beta that is online allows players to choose from four different characters. Initially, the two additional characters that were to be added in the middle of the beta's initial run through have not been added yet.

The limited beta is open to the public, although it's unclear if that is what developer and publisher Capcom intended.

After enough reports of the limited beta for "Street Fighter 5" appeared online, Capcom issued their own statement about what is going on.

According to the company, they are currently conducting an internal stress test for the "Street Fighter 5" servers just to see how well they are working right now. Capcom has indicated that they are conducting the stress test so that they can finally figure out just when they might be able to get the first beta for the game up and running once again.

According to Segment Next, Capcom is most likely only going to re-launch the first beta for "Street Fighter 5" after they have finished evaluating the results of the stress test, and that, of course, would depend on whether or not the process itself delivered the results they wanted it to.

Problems with the beta for "Street Fighter 5" began not long after it was first launched back on July 23. Due to numerous problems, servers for the game were repeatedly going offline, causing a lot of connectivity issues for everyone trying it out.

Capcom initially said that they would extend the first beta past July 28, which would have been the original end point for the first beta, because of the issues, but they ultimately opted to simply put things on hold indefinitely.

"Street Fighter 5" is currently scheduled to be released in March 2016.
