EA and DICE have introduced two new heroes that will arrive together with the upcoming "Death Star" DLC for "Star Wars: Battlefront." Bossk and Chewbacca will be the next playable characters that will arrive with the fourth expansion pack that is scheduled to be released this month.
The official game website described the two characters' inclusion by saying: "Everyone's favorite Wookiee, Chewbacca, and the Trandoshan hunter Bossk make their debut on the battlefront as two new playable heroes in the Death Star digital expansion. Both were designed around the pillar of 'mayhem' with the hope that hero encounters in the otherwise orderly Death Star are more dynamic than they have ever been. Here are some key details on these iconic characters to make sure you are ready to board one of the deadliest battle stations in the galaxy, the Death Star."
Chewbacca's abilities include Furious firing, that adds an extra bolt for each trait level gained, giving him a total of 4 extra bolts. Multi-Bolts give the Wookiee character the option to double the number of bolts he can shoot with his bowcaster for a short amount of time. Players can combine Furious firing and Multi-Bolts during gameplay, which will then give them a total of 8 explosive bolts per shot.
Additionally, he can do the Might Roar that will boost himself and his other allies within a specific area for a specified time, as well as the Ground Slam, which can cause a great damage over a large area.
Bossk, on the other hand, has the Trandoshan Regeneration ability that lets him restore his health with every kill or inflict a great damage to another hero. He can also convert his Relby-v10 to shoot Micro-Grenades that explode after a number of seconds or upon enemy contact. He also carries a deadly Dioxis Grenade to assist his escape in very tight situations.
Since he is a Trandoshan hunter, he can boost his own hunting skills that include heat vision, increased damage, faster sprint speed and faster cooldowns.
WFCCFTech added that the second to the last DLC for the season will add the "Battle Station" game mode, which brings the battle between two players to outer space.
The launch of "Star Wars: Battlefront - Death Star" DLC does not have an exact release date yet, but it is scheduled for this month.
