The Sony Xperia T4 Ultra may be on track for an August release.

The new device, which was initially leaked back in April, originally went by the name Sony Lavender, but after that smartphone failed to ever make it to the market, the hype around the leak began to die down.

It appears that the hype may be on its way to building back up again.

According to the latest rumors, Sony is already planning to release the Xperia T4 Ultra as soon as next month. However, some within the tech industry believe that the August release date may be for Japan. Sony has had a habit of releasing new smartphones at different times, and they could certainly go that route again for the Xperia T4 Ultra.

The Xperia T4 Ultra will also be quite unique, according to Softpedia. It is rumored to be the first ever Sony smartphone to feature a structure completely free from bezels.

As for the other specs, the Xperia T4 Ultra is expected to have the octa-core MediaTek MT6752. It is also said to have 2GB of RAM.

The Xperia T4 Ultra is also seen to feature a 5.5-inch HD display as well as a 13-megapixel rear camera. The phone's camera also has features of its own, including autofocus, full HD recording, LED flash and even the Sony IMX214 sensor.

As for some of the device's other supplemental features, it will reportedly come equipped with the Android 5.0 Lollipop operating system right from the get go. The device is also anticipated to support dual sim functionality as well as 4G LTE, according to Ubergizmo. It is also expected to have a microSD slot to help boost its storage capacity.

Those are the known specs of the device for now. As for the price, most have it pegged to come in at around $300, which would be right around where other phones similar to it have been placed.
