Someone's Made A 'Hipster' Nativity Set €“ And It's Hilarious

It would have been the world's greatest Snapchat story.

But alas. The nativity missed the social media revolution by close to two millennia. Thankfully, a San Diego-based company has answered the question we have all been asking:

What would the nativity have looked like on Instagram?

Modern Nativity has designed a millenial set complete with figurines of Joseph and Mary posing for selfies as wise men arrive on Segways with Amazon packages.

"It's been about 2,000 years since the nativity set was designed," the company's Facebook page said. "We think it's ready for an upgrade."

The results are, as you can imagine, hilarious.

But at $129.99 for the set, the Modern Nativity clearly did not get the memo about a lowly birth.

A skinny jeans-wearing shepherd feeds his organic cow gluten-free feed while his lamb wears a Christmas sweater. Of course.

Before arriving, the sheperd signs for his Amazon gift package. The stable has solar panels, naturally.
