'Pretty Little Liars' season 6 spoilers: Aria's substitute for Ezra is a bespectacled man

The new photo released for the upcoming second half of "Pretty Little Liars" season 6 confirms the bad news for Aria (Lucy Hale) and Ezra (Ian Harding) shippers. Their favorite "liar" has indeed moved on from her gorgeous ex-boyfriend and is currently enjoying being in a relationship with a new guy.

TV Line has posted the evidence that Aria has a new boyfriend. Liam (Roberto Aguire), the 24-year-old bespectacled man from Boston, is working as an editorial assistant in the same publishing firm Aria is working for. In the photo, Liam is seen sitting in his office chair and looking fresh in plaid polo shirt and eyeglasses. Aria, on the other hand, is in her work area. The two are sending flirty looks at each other and it is quite obvious they are smitten.

"PLL" creators have previously teased that Aria and Ezra have broken up in the five-year time-jump. The former couple, however, remains good friends. In fact, in the upcoming episodes for season 6B, viewers will see them in close proximity with each other, as Aria's firm will be handling the launching of Ezra's new book. In her interview with MTV News, Hale talked about her character's bond with her former English teacher.

"Their relationship has a lot more depth now that they're older. On a professional level. No matter how old they are, they are still each other's first loves, so there's that innocence to it as well. I love them together. It's like a real, genuine relationship, so I'm curious to see where it will go," she said.

Spoilers also claim that when she and her friends finally returned to Rosewood at Alison's (Sasha Pieterse) request, Aria is the one most hesitant to return. Aria will reportedly be forced to attend the reunion and if not for her friend, she would rather not to. Her whole life is now in Boston and Rosewood seems like a million years away.

"Pretty Little Liars" season 6 will return on Tuesday, Jan. 12, at 8 p.m. EST on Freeform (formerly ABC Family).
