'Pokémon GO' rare nest spawn changes news: Increased spawn rates, new nests observed by gamers

Several "Pokémon GO" players are already experiencing changes in spawning areas of both ordinary and rare pocket monsters. Some have even observed an increase in spawn rates.

Players of the highly successful augmented reality game from developer Niantic are currently discussing the latest nest changes happening in their area on the TheSilphRoad. Many are now experiencing an increase in spawn and rare spawn rates.

Some of the excited comments shared by members of the thread said: "Pictured: none of these Pokémon (except for Weedle, of course) spawned with any degree of frequency nearby. All of the sudden, spawn rates have skyrocketed nearby – the best I've ever seen is a single ivysaur that didn't even spawn at a nest, but now there are always Tauroses and Pinsirs, as well as the occasional very rare mon, as pictured."

Another game aficionado said: "I have noticed this as well. A couple houses down from me is a cluster spawn, usually pidgey, weedle, and rattata. Occasionally I would get a Tauros and the rarest I have gotten was Magmar. Just today Kabuto and Cubone started spawning at this point frequently and have never been anywhere in my area before." The "Pokémon GO" enthusiast also suggested that it could also just be a coincidence, but he/she hopes that there is really an increase of spawns in his/her area.

"Pokémon GO" players are also aware that nests did not migrate this time, even if it has been more than 24 days since the last migration. There are also comments from other gamers saying that a good number of new nests have been added to different areas or regions.

Meanwhile, game fans are encouraged to participate in forums for "Pokémon GO" in their area or region. Many discussion boards contain a nest atlas that every player can consult in order to maximize their farming. The information is community-based. Nesting areas are registered or reported so that other players can have an idea on where to go next.

Niantic, on the other hand, has not said a word about the changes to these spawning areas or about its increase in spawn rate.

"Pokémon GO" is a free-to-download and free-to-play location-based augmented reality game for Android and iOS devices.
