After "Modern Family" aired its fifth episode of the season last Oct. 21, the show went on a brief hiatus and did not even air a new Halloween episode for the year. Instead, ABC aired a replay of its season 6 Halloween special titled "Awesome Land." However, fans of the series will get a fresh new episode on Nov. 11, which is guaranteed to deliver lots of laughs as the Dunphys and the Pritchetts go about their daily routines, with the occasional mishap or two.

In the episode titled "The More You Ignore Me," the Dunphy children get into all sorts of trouble as Luke (Nolan Gould) gets arrested for driving without a license. And while this sort of behavior is almost expected of Luke, what's surprising is that the bookish, rule-abiding Alex (Ariel Winter) is caught sneaking out of a liquor store. However, it remains to be seen whether she is at the premises to buy some liquor for herself, or for someone else. As she is now in college, it's also quite possible that she has been dared to do it.

Meanwhile, Gloria's (Sofia Vergara) special family recipe for hot sauce seems to be a big hit as Cam (Eric Stonestreet) urges her to market it. But Gloria isn't the only one who is about to make the family proud as Jay (Ed O'Neill) is about to receive an award from the Titans of Industry, and Mitchell (Jesse Tyler Ferguson) is going to help him make a video to go with. Given Jay's dour nature, it looks like Mitchell is going to be having a difficult time making the video.

And while Haley (Sarah Hyland) has gotten back together with her on-off boyfriend, Dylan (Reid Ewing) to get her mind off Andy (Adam DeVine), Haley and Andy are about to have an awkward reunion as they run into each other at the movies with their significant others.

"Modern Family" airs on Wednesdays at 9 p.m. on ABC.
