It seems like two of the most popular games will be coming to Sony game consoles as one.

4J Studios, the game developer of the hit sandbox survival game "Minecraft," announced that there will be a "Minecraft-Skyrim" Mash-Up Pack that will be released to PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, and PlayStation Vita soon.

"Yes, the Skyrim Mash-up Pack will come to PlayStation. We were hoping this month, but doesn't look Sony can do that," the game developer mentioned in its Twitter account.

The first "Skyrim" Mash-up Pack that was released for "Minecraft" was introduced for the game's Xbox One edition back in 2013. It offered character skins, new musical tracks, better textures, highly improved UI, and a chance to reach in-depth locations inside "Minecraft's" maps to the world of Bethesda's RPG.

During a recent interview, a Mojang exec discussed the developments of the "Minecraft-Skyrim" mash-up for the PlayStation consoles.

The mash-up will be based on action-packed "The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim" role-playing game, which was developed and published by Bethesda Software. It's a part of "The Elder Scrolls" franchise.

The rep said, "It is going to be cool really awesome and we think it is really cool to continue the co-operation with Bethesda. Don't have a release date but we're working on it as fast as we possibly can. It will be soonish!"

"Minecraft's" publisher Mojang was recently acquired by Microsoft, after its founder Markus "Notch" Persson decided to start building small projects again. Fans were initially concerned that "Minecraft" updates will start being exclusive to the Xbox consoles, but representatives from the company assured fans that it will not happen.

The mash-Up packs could possibly cost $3.99, but there might be free trial versions for those who want to check out the games first before actually making a purchase.

The release date for the "Minecraft-Skyrim" Mash-Up pack for Sony consoles is still undisclosed, but fans are guessing that the game will be put on store shelves soon.
